Normally there are several different face to face Bible study groups run by North Buckingham Parish, these are listed below but they are not operating, however we are now running a Zoom bible study on Discipleship:
What do you think when you see the word disciple? Maybe you think of the 12 men Jesus called to leave everything and follow him, like Peter, James and John. Ordinary people who saw firsthand Jesus’ earthly ministry and his death and resurrection.
As Christians in 2020 we too are followers of Christ, following in the footsteps of these 12 and all other Christians who have gone before us. This makes us disciples too.
So, what is it like to be a disciple today? We are going to be exploring this question with a series of 4 short Bible studies, held over zoom. Zoom is a free app, limited to a 40 minute conversation each time. If you are interested in joining a discipleship group please ring Cathy on 821976.
If you do not have access to the internet, I am also including some initial thoughts on discipleship in the June magazine. Cathy
